In the Saint-Gilles neighborhood of Brussels, Interphono engages the local community in redefining the idea of home and personal space. Under the guidance of Zoé Suliko, residents participate in theater workshops and develop soundscapes. These creations become the foundation for a distinctive performance directed by Xavier Campion, showcasing the diverse narratives and aspirations of the participants.
In Madrid, Interphono collaborates with the local community to question and reimagine the concept of home and personal space. Led by Inès Collado, theater workshops are conducted, and participants create soundscapes that inspire a unique theatrical production. This process allows residents to express their stories and dreams, culminating in a performance that reflects their collective experiences.
In the Parisian suburb of Gennevilliers, Interphono invites residents to explore the concept of home and personal space through theater workshops. Led by Delphine Salkin, participants create soundscapes that serve as inspiration for a unique theatrical performance. This creative process allows the community to share their stories and dreams, bringing a new perspective on what home means to them.
Our mission is to explore urban life through personal stories, artistic creation, and archival documentation.
Understand what "home" means to different individuals in various urban contexts.
Create sound and photographic archives of cities in transition.
Transform stories and experiences into sound creations and theatrical performances.
Foster meetings and exchanges through personal stories.
Interphono aims to question the idea of home and personal space. The project includes theater workshops open to residents of various neighborhoods, where they can share their stories and dreams.
These workshops will culminate in a sound presentation accompanied by photographic portraits, thus creating a living memory of the cities.
Interphono brings together three sound creations and three stage productions that will be presented on April 13-14, 2025, during a 3-day festival at La Tricoterie in Brussels.
